REVIEW: Storz-Bickel ‘Mighty’

Temperature Control
The Mighty gives you a simple way to precisely adjust the temperature via an LED Display and up/down buttons. You can choose any temperature from 105F to 410F. The Mighty does not use a smartphone app to customize the temperature settings. Its’ all done on the device via the easy to use up/down buttons on the front of the vaporizer.

LED Display
The LED Display will show the exact temperature and the target temperature, in either Fahrenheit or Celsius. The display also shows the remaining battery life (a very nice feature).

Easy To Use
The device is very easy to use. Just press the orange power button and the unit will commence heating until it reaches the target temperature. The LED display will show (1) the default target temperature, (2) the actual temperature, and (3) the battery life remaining.

Vapor Quality
Beyond Excellent. Awesome would be a better description.

Power Supply
The Mighty contains two (2) lithium ion batteries. For comparison, the Crafty has one (1) lithium ion battery. The advantage to having two batteries is you get significantly more usage between recharges. In fact, it has among the best usage times between charges. The Mighty has more than twice the battery life of the Crafty, and is about twice the size. The Mighty probably has the best battery life of any portable vaporizer. The tradeoff is that although the Mighty is a portable vaporizer, it is somewhat less portable and more conspicuous the Crafty since the additional size is needed to accommodate the two batteries. That’s the tradeoff. So your decision to opt for the Crafty or the Mighty will depend on how and where you use the device. If you will use the device primarily at home, you may wish to opt for the longer lasting power supply of the Mighty. With the Mighty you should about 8 vaping sessions before the battery requires recharging.

The Bottom Line

The ‘Mighty’ Vaporizer from Storz-Bickel is RECOMMENDED

The Mighty, like the smaller Crafty, is truly an excellent high-quality device. In some ways, the Mighty is even better than the Crafty. But don’t get us wrong, we love both models. For instance, in our testing we seemed to get many more draws, or pulls, from each heat-up session than with the Crafty. When reviewing the Crafty we felt that the unit maximizes the mileage you can get from your herb. As terrific as the Crafty is in this regard, the Mighty is even better.

The big differences between the two are primarily (1) battery life, and (2) size.
With either vaporizer you will experience vaping at its’ finest. These Storz-Bickel portable vaporizers are on a short list of the very best portable vaporizers available.

The Mighty produces vapor with awesome flavor.

Our one small issue we have with the Mighty is that it does not have a flat bottom, like to Crafty. You can lay the unit down on a counter, but you can’t stand it up. A minor issue. But everything else about this device is so excellent that small issue would not deter us from buying it.

Storz-Bickel vaporizers are not inexpensive but they are very high quality vaporizers, in our opinion. The Mighty costs $349. But think of it like driving a BMW versus driving a Chevrolet. You will get very spoiled using Storz-Bickel vaporizers just like bimmer drivers get very spoiled driving BMWs. We tested the Mighty for dry herb. As indicated earlier you will get maximum mileage out of your herb and in the long run this will help offset the high cost of these units over time.
