The oven is ceramic and the oven temperature is adjustable.

For the sake of one important factor let’s do a quick comparison to the highly touted and often recommended competing portable dry herb vaporizer, the PAX 2. Here is a quick simple reason why the DaVinci Micro is a much better choice than the PAX 2. The oven in the DaVinci Miqro is ceramic while the oven in the PAX 2 is aluminum. Yikes! That’s crazy! Aluminum is toxic. Why PAX uses aluminum is a mystery… but they do. To their credit, the DaVinci Miqro has a ceramic oven. So, the PAX is not even in the running for us. And the takeaway here is one of the first things to consider when buying an oven is the oven material. Here the DaVinci wins…hands down.

The DaVinci Miqro has an Extended Mouthpiece included in the basic $149 package. The extended mouthpiece on the DaVinci Miqro does not get hot, unlike, for instance, the GENCO G Pen Pro on which the mouthpiece does get hot.

The oven capacity on the DaVinci Vaporizer is adjustable. That’s a nice feature enabling folks to adjust their dose.

The functionality is excellent. The craftsmanship is first rate. The unit heats up in about 45 seconds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The size is small and the battery is a small 18350 battery. You get two batteries in the package, each one good for about 30 minutes of vaping. So, with the two batteries that gives you 60 minutes. The unit is easy to clean. The vapor path in the Miqro is Ceramic Zirconium. The pearl, the bowl, the air path, and the mouthpiece all use this material.
